Home Instead of Norman is hiring dependable overnight caregivers for clients in the Norman area. Assignments may be in a client's private residence or in a senior living facility.

We are looking for caregivers who want a consistent overnight schedule of 3–5 twelve-hour shifts per week .

These Are Awake Overnight Shifts

Caregivers must be prepared to remain awake, alert and attentive throughout the entire overnight shift unless specifically instructed otherwise for an individual client.

This position is best suited for an experienced caregiver who is comfortable working independently overnight and takes responsibility for the client's safety and care seriously.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Hands-on personal care, including toileting, bathing and dressing
• Incontinence care
• Transfers and mobility assistance
• Fall prevention and overnight safety monitoring
• Meal/snack preparation and hydration
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Following the client's established care plan
• Accurately documenting/journaling overnight activities, care provided and changes in condition
• Communicating important information to the office and incoming caregiver

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have hands-on personal care experience and be:

• Available for 3–5 overnight shifts per week
• Non-smoking
• Dependable and consistently on time
• Honest, trustworthy and professional
• Comfortable working independently overnight
• Able to follow a written care plan and document care accurately
• Able to remain awake and attentive throughout a 12-hour shift
• Able to provide hands-on personal care
• Equipped with reliable transportation

Pay: $13–$15/hour, depending on experience and assignment

Schedule: 7 PM–7 AM or 8 PM–8 AM

Location: Norman, OK

We are specifically looking for caregivers who want consistent overnight work and can become a reliable part of a client's regular care team.
